The climate crisis plays an important role in shaping our future. Water scarcity, forest fires, extreme weather and rising sea levels disproportionately affect marginalised populations, leading to loss of livelihoods, forcing people to migrate and increasing social conflict. Optimistic voices are confident that human creativity, through technology, can redirect climate impacts and restore our relationship with nature. What will be the role of technology in a human rights and climate resilient future?

Leading scientist Antonio Turiel, a populariser of the raw materials' crisis, will debate with biologist Charo Morán, a specialist in education, ecology, consumption and sustainability and author of the report Will technology save us? The debate will be moderated by Elisabet Rosselló, founder of Postfuturear.

Antonio Turiel will participate by videoconference..
