Located inside a block of houses in the Eixample neighbourhood, this work by the architects Joaquim Gili and Francesc Bassó was built between 1954 and 1960 and was awarded the FAD Architecture Prize in 1961. Six decades later, Barcelona City Council has reopened the doors of the building to convert it into a new generation centre for culture and education.
