He holds a PhD in Political Science and Administration (2002), an MA in Political and Social Theory (1996) from Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), an MA in Philosophy of Social Sciences from the London School of Economics and Political Science (1997) and a BA in Political Science and Sociology (1993) from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). He also holds a Master's degree in Documentary Filmmaking from the School of Cinematography and Audiovisuals of Catalonia (ESCAC, 2004).
