  CCCB

   

  Elisabet Goula is Head of the Documentation Centre and Debates at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB). A leading cultural institution, the CCCB is a multidisciplinary centre dedicated to exploring the major issues of contemporary society through different languages and formats. Its programme combines thematic exhibitions, lecture series, literary events, audiovisual screenings and festivals, with the aim of opening spaces for critical reflection and public dialogue. Through this diversity of proposals, the CCCB creates a living connection between thought, culture and current affairs, fostering conversations about the conflicts, questions and transformations that shape the present.

  Escola de Pensament

   

  The philosopher, essayist and professor Marina Garcés and the writer, journalist and cultural activist Albert Lladó lead the Escola de Pensament, a space for dialogue, criticism and debate created in 2019 at the Teatre Lliure and currently organised by Biblioteques de Barcelona. The programme uses the tools of reading and philosophy to bring the major conflicts of the present to the table. Over the course of its seven seasons, it has welcomed more than 50 national and international guests, turning words into both a gesture and an act of living thought.

  ISGlobal

   

  Rafael Vilasanjuan, Director of Translation and Impact at ISGlobal, represents one of the organisation's core areas of work: connecting scientific knowledge with public policy, social debate and decision-making. ISGlobal is a research and knowledge translation centre founded in 2010, with roots in more than three decades of work in health, environmental epidemiology and international cooperation. Its activities connect research, training, public policy and social dialogue to address challenges affecting health, the environment, inequalities and living conditions. From an interdisciplinary perspective, it understands health as a field inseparable from justice, public responsibility and the production of knowledge that is useful to society. Laura Chica and Francisca Casas-Cordero, from ISGlobal, have also contributed to this proposal.

  La Sullivan

   

  Berta Subirats and Mireia Calafell, co-directors of the cultural production company La Sullivan, represent the trajectory of a cultural cooperative that develops projects in the fields of thought, art, curatorship, education, communication and mediation. La Sullivan combines the creation of festivals, series and cultural programmes with collaborative work alongside institutions such as the CCCB, CaixaForum, L’Auditori, the Fundació Joan Brossa – Centre de les Arts Lliures and Arts Santa Mònica. Among its recent projects are the BIVAC Young Thought Festival, the En Altres Paraules Festival and advisory work for the Argumenta series.
