Anna Ramos

Architect and Director of the Fundació Mies van der Rohe

Born in Barcelona in 1974, she has been Director of the Fundació Mies van der Rohe since 2016 and Secretary of the Jury of the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Awards.

She is an Associate Professor of Technology in Architecture at ETSAB-UPC and a Visiting Professor at MSA – FH Münster, a member of the board of the École Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris and Honorary President of the Piran Days of Architecture. She has also served as Deputy Director for International Relations at ETSAB-UPC (2014–2026) and President of the Agrupació de Joves Arquitectes de Catalunya (2005–2008).

Between 2000 and 2016, she ran her own architecture studio in Barcelona. She studied Architecture at ETSAB-UPC and TU Delft and holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies from the UPC doctoral programme in Architectural Construction, Restoration and Rehabilitation.
