Miriam Giordano

Communication expert, founder and director of Labóh

Born in Pordenone, Italy, in 1974 and based in Barcelona, she works at the intersection of architecture, design, media and contemporary culture. She is the director of Labóh, which she founded in 2012, and a curator and editor for the international platform World-Architects. Since 2018, she has co-organised Architecture and the Media, a European conference developed with the Fundació Mies van der Rohe on the communication of architecture.

Her recent projects include leading communications and press for the UIA World Congress of Architects 2026 Barcelona. As part of Barcelona 2026 World Capital of Architecture, she has also co-organised the Comunicar Arquitectura, Comunicar Ciutat series with Biblioteques de Barcelona.

She graduated with honours in Communication Sciences from the Università di Bologna, where she studied under Umberto Eco. Her work focuses on communicating architecture and design both within the sector and to wider audiences.
