Tetyana Ogarkova

Ukrainian literary critic, journalist and essayist

She holds a PhD in Literature from Paris XII-Val-de-Marne University and is a lecturer at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Her research has focused on French literature, the European avant-garde and literary theory. Following the Euromaidan protests (2013–2014), she expanded her work into journalism and international communications. She has worked at the Ukraine Crisis Media Center and Hromadske, helping to bring the country’s political, social and cultural realities to an international audience.

Her work combines literary analysis with reflections on memory, European identity and the effects of war. Together with Volodymyr Yermolenko, she has published La vida al límite (Asteroide, 2026), a jointly written account of the war in Ukraine recounting their journeys to deliver humanitarian aid behind the front lines.
