Improvisation, electronic experimentation and the creation of reactive soundscapes define Adrià Serrano’s practice. A guitarist, sound artist and enthusiast of Barcelona’s experimental electronic music scene, he has developed an artistic practice based on real-time sound processing and the exploration of techniques ranging from cassette tape to digital sound-modelling software. He studied Sonology at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, where he worked with a range of creative formats and experimental sound techniques. He has more than eight years of professional experience in recording, mixing and music production. He is currently developing a new line of research focused on field recording and the convergence of analogue and digital media through interactive soundscapes.
