Researcher and activist against state racism

The structural relationship between racism, capitalism, criminalisation and the state is central to Ainhoa Nadia Douhaibi Arrazola’s work as a researcher, educator and activist. She currently teaches at the UOC and conducts activist research into various mechanisms of institutional racism, including the education and child protection systems, the deportation regime and policies aimed at preventing radicalisation.

She has written for various media outlets and is co-author of La radicalización del racismo. Islamofobia de Estado y prevención antiterrorista (2019) and Excavating Spain’s Police Data Power (2027). She has also contributed to collective publications including Dejadnos crecer: menores migrantes bajo tutela institucional (2014), Paremos los vuelos. Las deportaciones de inmigrantes y el boicot a Air Europa (2014) and El nuevo Pacto de Migración y Asilo a examen (2026). She is active in collectives fighting police racism and racial criminalisation, as well as advocating for the abolition of borders and Spain’s Immigration Law.
