Erica Njuguna

Climate justice organiser, Alliance of Non-Governmental Radical Youth

Based in Nairobi, Kenya, Erica Njuguna is part of a new generation of activists connecting climate justice, feminism and global debt. A young trans activist, she fights alongside other young people for a feminist, debt-free and climate-just African future. She is the global coordinator of ANGRY —Alliance of Non-Governmental Radical Youth—, a youth collective working to advance climate justice policies. She is also an organiser with Fridays for Future MAPA, the Fridays for Future space bringing together people and territories most affected by the climate crisis, and serves on the steering committee of the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty Initiative.
