Eulàlia Gómez

Architect, PhD in Urbanism and director of ETSAB

She is director of the Barcelona School of Architecture and an associate professor in the Department of Urbanism, Territory and Landscape at ETSAB-UPC, where she has taught since 2008 and has been deputy director of International Relations since 2021.

She has been a visiting professor at KU Leuven, Universiteit Antwerpen, the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts KADK, the German University in Cairo, Universidad Mayor in Santiago de Chile, Tecnológico de Monterrey and Columbia University. She was a Design Critic at Harvard Graduate School of Design (2019).

She is co-author of research projects related to Barcelona including Barcelona Metròpolis (DHUB, 2014-2015) and Cerdà i la Barcelona del Futur. Realitat vs. Projecte (CCCB, 2009). Her research has been published in the Journal of Urban History and the Journal of Urban Design and presented at international conferences including ISUF, EUGEO and AMPS.
