Translation, writing, gender and psychoanalysis run through Inés Garcia López’s career. Born in Badalona in 1976, she holds a PhD in German Philology from the University of Barcelona and is currently a lecturer at Rovira i Virgili University in Tarragona. She translates from German and Icelandic into Catalan and also holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Barcelona. She is a member of the Comunitat de Catalunya de l’Escola Lacaniana de Psicoanàlisi and is on the faculty of Escola Bloom, where she teaches seminars on gender, writing and psychoanalysis. In 2022, she published the essay Calla i paga. Encontres entre política i psicoanàlisi, published by Periscopi-Bloom.
