Jordi Graupera

Philosopher and lecturer

He holds a PhD in Philosophy from The New School for Social Research in New York and has worked as a lecturer and researcher in political and moral philosophy at universities including New York University and Princeton. He currently teaches at La Salle–Ramon Llull University. His research focuses on the contradictions of liberal states and the moral and political limits of contemporary democracies.

He has worked as a columnist and political analyst for media outlets including Catalunya Ràdio, RAC1, La Vanguardia, El Periódico, BBC World and The New Yorker. In politics, he co-founded the Alhora party in 2024. He is the author of La supèrbia (Fragmenta, 2020), Estimaràs Déu sobre totes les coses (Fragmenta, 2023) and La perplexitat (Destino, 2023), an intellectual and biographical account of his time in the United States.
