Working across comedy, writing and communication, Maria Rovira has developed a public career under the name Oye Sherman. Born in Barcelona in 1990, she is a screenwriter, writer and stand-up comedian. Her work combines regular appearances on stage with contributions to television and radio. She can currently be seen on TV3’s Està passant, heard on Catalunya Ràdio and SER Catalunya, and read in Garlanda, published by Blackie Books.
