Pau de Solà-Morales
Architect and urban planner, lecturer and researcher
An architect and urban planner since 1993, he is currently a lecturer at the School of Architecture at Rovira i Virgili University (URV), working in the fields of architectural theory and history and computer-aided representation techniques. His interests have always centred on the foundations of design and creativity, the use of information technologies in architecture, and the relationship between architecture, information and complexity.
He has edited the monograph Premis FAD: 1958-2008 (ArquinFAD, 2010) and the collection Los artículos de Any (Fundación Arquia, 2009), and published Arquitectura, crisis, crítica radical: Para una crítica de la ideología arquitectónica. Manfredo Tafuri, 1969 (Ediciones Vibok, 2020). He holds a PhD from Harvard University (2000) and has served as director of the School of Architecture at URV and the EINA School of Art and Design in Barcelona.
