Ray Brassier

Philosopher

Professor of Philosophy at the American University of Beirut, Ray Brassier is the author of Nihil Unbound: Enlightenment and Extinction (2007), a work associated with contemporary debates on nihilism, Enlightenment and extinction. His philosophical work is situated within contemporary thought and debates on the relationships between rationality, freedom, fatality and the critique of capitalism. In 2027, he will publish Fatelessness: Freedom and Fatality After Marx, a new work focusing on freedom and fatality after Marx.
