How do the forms of work, consumption and relationships that define the present shape our lives? What happens when uncertainty, precarity and hyperconnectivity become the everyday horizon of experience? Is it possible to imagine ways of living, thinking and acting that are not trapped by the dominant logics of our time?

Internationally renowned British philosopher Ray Brassier reflects on how the present moment shapes both the material and subjective conditions of our existence. Beyond economic, technological and political transformations, the question is how these changes affect the ways we perceive ourselves, relate to one another and imagine the future.

Together with essayist Eudald Espluga and philosopher Tatiana Llaguno, Ray Brassier will discuss the possibilities of an ethical life and a collective political praxis today, and how these can be articulated at both the individual and the community level.
