What mechanisms allow us to see and hear what remains outside the society of the spectacle? How can we learn to look without prejudice or paternalism? How can we create spaces of resonance where every voice can find its own form of expression?

This workshop proposes a collective exploration of the forms of invisibility that run through the urban fabric and our neighbourhoods. Often, borders continue to exist where we cannot see them; but, in the same way, there are also bridges, relationships, forms of knowledge and cooperation that remain out of sight and that we do not always know how to recognise.

Led by Grigri, an organisation that has spent ten years thinking and acting collectively through practices that seek to re-enchant and transform the world, the activity invites us to shift our perspective and open up conversations where we least expect them. Through an approach based on listening, doing and coming together, it proposes rediscovering something as simple as sitting in a square, sharing a question and a slice of melon with someone we do not know, and starting a collective conversation.

Because we do not always know in advance what is inside a melon, or what might emerge when we open up a conversation: a way of making room for chance, the unexpected and the questions that arise between people who might otherwise never have sat together.

Drawing on the knowledge, questions and experiences that emerge in any public square, the workshop proposes moving from words to images that we do not yet have and that we must also learn to create and imagine together with strangers.

Free admission. Limited capacity.
