Food tells us about our culture and our territory. The shape of cities depends on the way we feed ourselves. In turn, food is a key to the future; it can save the world or destroy it. As architect Carolyn Steel says, we choose to consume over people, and we are paying too high a price for cheap food.

What is the relationship between city, territory and food, between what we eat and where we live, how do gastronomy, design, architecture and urbanism intertwine, what are the processes, habits and rituals that accompany food consumption, and what is its social and environmental impact?
